Slash Commands are commands you start by typing a forward-slash [ / ] and a word, possibly followed by more information. These commands perform social functions, modify chat or make your character do interesting things. Some commands are shortcuts for functions already accessible through menus, but other commands (like emotes) are not possible any other way.
